Bartek Wireline Services Ltd has been in business for 15 years, and for the last 4 years has been partnered up with Jackson Davis with Action Wireline Services Ltd who purchased his wireline truck from Bartek Wireline and continues to subcontract for Bartek Wireline. With the slow economy we have been fairly successful and our success is appreciated. We are a local company from Fort St John and support our local community by donating to sporting teams and community events. I have 27 years of personal slickline experience, Jackson Davis has 14 years, Kevin Girouard and Brandon Bulmer have 16 years combined experience. Our Picker operators Will Werner, Neil Greenway, and Corad Bouchard all have Crane Safe Certificates and many more years of slickline experience as slickline operators.

We have 3 fully equipped wireline units all with .125" stainless steel wire and 2 units with .140 stainless steel line for swabbing or heavy jarring. For purging and pressure testing, two of the wireline trucks carry two 28mpa nitrogen bottles, the third carries one 28mpa nitrogen bottle. All three pickers carry four more 28mpa nitrogen bottles on a skid and a 28mpa pressure pump system used to pump methanol or diesel into wells as required. We offer a full line of downhole tools from our inventory, including Panther downhole gauges from Rock Data, and Otis or Baker style tubing plugs from Western Pressure Controls, E-Brace, and Halliburton.

I'm proud to say Bartek Wireline obtained the Small Employer Certificate Of Recognition in August 2008. I am the president of Bartek Wireline and personally set up the Health and Safety program. I am aware of all regulations that must be followed and have included all pertinent regulations in our Health, Safety, & Environmental Manual. Bartek Wireline has had WCB coverage and a National Safety Code Certificate for 14 years now and will continue to operate under regulations for WCB, Motor Vehicle Act, OH&S, B.C. Employment Standards, TDG and WHMIS. All employees have valid H2S, First Aid, TDG, and PST certificates.
